The place was nice and so was the race that I decided to go to see this race once more with my children who had fun riding on the same route as the professional cyclists. Morevoer they loved to sprint under the King of Mountain pannel.The last 500 meters were at 11%. Again another sunny day in august a smooth and fast race, very competitive riders were about. This race took place a week before the Vuelta Espana so some of the riders were just completing their trainig to better peform in Spain. Nice crowd along the route and at the finish line, were I managed to take some nice pictures with Alfredo Martini an icon for all professional riders, and a good manager of the national team now retired, but still wishing to be present at important events to overwhelm young riders with his wise suggestions.
